Well it appears as if we have a forum.

Now what?

MY 67 test has me (at best) scratching my head over WHY I vary so far from the "modal" McGuire.  Having said that, it is still so very cool to be able to go beyond familial legend!!

Hello all,

My name is Peter Gurry and according to the Breifne Clans Project, Gurry is from Mac Gofraidh which is part of the Siol Uidhir Branch.
Most of my close 67 marker matches are with traditional Airghialla names, McGuire, McManus, McMahon, McAuley etc.
Also from the Breifne Clans Project I am only -2 over 67 markers from the Airghialla 2 modal haplotype.
Just thought I'd introduce myself.
